The Garden Ballroom: a graceful progression from ceremony to after-party
The Garden Ballroom works especially well for couples who want their wedding day to unfold in chapters.
A typical flow begins with an outdoor ceremony, with My Way DJs usually positioning ceremony audio to the right of the space. Guests then move to the covered outdoor cocktail area while The Wright House team flips the ceremony area by moving chairs and bringing in dinner tables.
Guests return for dinner and formalities in the transformed outdoor space. Later, everyone moves into the ballroom for dancing.
That final move is a signature moment. The ballroom feels like a separate, intimate after-party space: exciting enough to raise the energy, but still welcoming for every guest. In this smaller enclosed room, uplighting makes a major impact, while My Way DJs’ included dance-floor lighting is more than enough to create a lively dance floor.
Provencal: dedicated spaces and dinner under the stars
Provencal is more naturally divided into dedicated ceremony, dinner, and reception areas, so couples do not need the same ceremony-to-dinner flip.
The garden can host an outdoor dinner, which we especially love on a beautiful Arizona evening. For smaller weddings, couples may also choose to bring dinner indoors. The ballroom is always a strong choice for dancing, whether dinner happens inside as well or guests move there after an outdoor meal.
The result is a relaxed, garden-forward wedding that lets guests enjoy the night sky before coming together for the party.
